After her own diagnosis, Heidi Clay had a dream to provide support for women facing breast cancer in rural Saskatchewan.
Honouring that dream, Heidi’s family established the Heidi Clay Memorial Fund to help women facing a breast cancer diagnosis in rural areas with limited access to rehabilitation and support.
Using funds raised, Heidi’s family partnered with Inpower to initiate Heidi Clay Rural Rehabilitation Retreats. The first retreat occurred in 2019 and the fund continues to support retreats to this day, always honouring Heidi and her dream. These retreats offer a mixture of education and connection, and are hosted by Inpower in smaller communities to support women in rural Saskatchewan.
