Regina Breast Health Centre (BHC)
The Regina Breast Health Centre (BHC) has significantly improved breast health care in Saskatchewan by bringing diagnostics, treatment planning and rehabilitation supports together in one location.
Their health care team of breast radiologists, surgeons, nurse navigators, physiotherapists, a social worker, medical imaging staff and support professionals works together to guide patients from screening through diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
For women newly diagnosed with breast cancer, the BHC offers a weekly optional pre-operative education class presented by the BHC team with a focus on surgery preparation and early post-op recovery.
The BHC Physical Therapy Program also offers a monthly post-operative education class presented by the BHC Physical Therapy team with a focus on post-op recovery and rehabilitation. People diagnosed with breast cancer can access the BHC Physical Therapy Program for cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema services.
Please see posters for more information to register for classes.
